debating

. In these classes, children learn how to

wisely through critical thinking, critical listening and critical speaking. Learning to

has end number of benefits in a student’s life. Through this, they improve their vocabulary section as well as listening skills to build their self esteem. The outcome of a

debate

may depend upon consensus or some formal way of reaching a resolution, rather than the objective facts. We here at CMA go an extra mile to go beyond academics to tap the talents of the children. In this respect at the beginning of every session we decide on a few

hobbies

and ask the children to choose from them. Various current topics are given keeping in mind their age and class. Some of the topics were:

The role of a student in protecting the environment. Children spoke for and against the topics. Some of the inputs given were really thought provoking. Some of the days the discussion would get going so tough that we had to balance the
